My name is Rooni. It comes from "Gourouni", which means pig in Greek!. And Mickey Rooney!! I am an English bull terrier. I am a very brave dog! I am 10 years old. Everybody thinks I bite, but I don't. I don't like biting, except when I'm playing, sometimes.....

Alexandra saw me sitting in a pet shop window, when I was very small, she loved me immediately and took me home.... That was in Athens, in 1993.

A few months later we went on a trip. That was an adventure! Alexandra really likes adventures. We were on a boat for hours and hours. I had never seen a boat before!. (Actually, it was a bit scary).

Then, we arrived at Astypalea. I guess you don't know, but Astypalea is an island in the Dodecanese, very far away. I had never seen an island before, but it looked great. Lots of water all around..... We walked up the hill, all the way to the top, where the house is. It's a big house and I had lots to do checking everything out. A lot of different smells, a fire- place, a stone floor downstairs and a winding wooden staircase to climb up to the top.... Not very easy!
